Three fees on every US sale: a $0.20 listing fee per unit sold (the listing renews at $0.20 after each sale); a 6.5% transaction fee on the price you display plus shipping and gift wrap (US sales tax is not included in that base); and Etsy Payments processing of 3% of the gross order — including shipping and tax — plus $0.25 per order. If a sale is attributed to an Offsite Ad within 30 days of a click, an Offsite Ads fee of 15% (12% for shops that have reached $10,000 in trailing sales, for which the program is mandatory) applies to the same base as the transaction fee, capped at $100 per order.

The calculator reproduces every worked example the platform publishes; these are run as tests before any page is built.
- Etsy's own multi-quantity listing example: two units sold in one order pay the $0.20 listing fee twice. Page says: listing fee $0.40. "If you list multiple quantities of the same item, the initial listing fee will be $0.20, and the listing will be automatically renewed at $0.20 after each of the items sells."
- Arithmetic check derived from the published rates: $100 item, $5 shipping, no tax, not an Offsite Ads sale. Page says: listing fee $0.20, transaction fee $6.83, processing fee $3.40, total fees $10.43, net $94.57. "you will be charged a transaction fee of 6.5% of the price you display for each listing plus the amount you charge for shipping and gift wrapping … 3% + $0.25 USD"

Notes
- US processing fee 3% + $0.25 USD is stated identically on the Etsy Payments Policy (Section 9B table, 'Last updated on Jul 31, 2026') and on help article 115015628847. Both label the fixed part as a 'flat fee per order'.
- URL note: the task's suggested path etsy.com/legal/policy/etsy-payments-policy was not fetched; the Fees & Payments Policy links to https://www.etsy.com/legal/etsy-payments/ which is the live 'Etsy Payments Policy' page and was used.
- Base difference: the processing fee base INCLUDES sales tax and shipping; the 6.5% transaction fee base is display price + shipping + gift wrap and, for US sellers, EXCLUDES sales tax. Listing fee is per listing/renewal, not per sale.
- The help article rounds the Etsy Payments policy table slightly differently in places (e.g., 'India | 5%+ 25 INR' vs '5% + 25 INR'; Vietnam '11500 VND' vs '11,550 VND') — non-US, flagged only as evidence the two tables are maintained separately. US row matches exactly.
- Etsy Payments policy table shows 'effective July 8, 2024' rate changes for Mexico and Türkiye only; no dated change for the US row.
- Etsy.com pages blocked the crawl4ai and plain fetchers; they loaded with the stealth Playwright fetcher. Help-center (Zendesk) pages loaded with a plain Playwright fetch.
- No platform-provided worked example of the processing fee or transaction fee exists on the loaded pages; only the multi-quantity listing-fee example.
- Etsy Plus includes '15 listing credits, which are visible as $3 in listings credit' (consistent with $0.20 x 15).
