How much does Vinted take?
An independent calculator, not Vinted: nothing to sign in to and nothing to pay here. Enter a sale amount and read the fees.
On a $100.00 sale with the default settings, Vinted takes $0.00 and you keep $100.00 — an effective rate of 0.00%. Vinted charges US sellers nothing to list, sell or withdraw: you receive the full item price. The buyer pays a Buyer Protection fee of $0.70 plus 5% of the item price on top, which Vinted says is usually that formula but can vary.

How the fee is built
Sellers pay nothing to list or sell: after an order completes, the full agreed item price is credited to the seller's Vinted Wallet, and withdrawals to a US bank account (USD only) are free, take up to 5 business days, and require a minimum of $0.10. The buyer pays, on top of the item price, shipping and any sales tax, a mandatory Buyer Protection fee of $0.70 plus 5% of the item price (for a bundle, 5% of the combined bundle price, with the fixed part once per order); the help center says the fee is 'usually 5% + $0.70' and can vary by item characteristics, order value and order type. Shipping costs are borne by the buyer; taxes on integrated labels are paid by the buyer, while for custom shipping the applicable taxes are borne by the seller. Optional seller-paid item bumps are priced at checkout (3 or 7 calendar days) and are not refundable. For US–UK cross-border orders the buyer pays the same Buyer Protection fee and a 1.2% currency conversion built into the checkout exchange rate; the seller is paid in USD.
In Vinted's own words
- There are no fees for uploading your items or selling them on Vinted. This means once your sale is successfully closed, you'll receive the full selling price straight to your Vinted Wallet.
- The Buyer will be automatically charged a Buyer Protection Fee for these Buyer Protection Services, which will always be shown at checkout before completion of the order.
- The Buyer Protection Fee is calculated as follows: A fixed amount of $0.70; plus 5% of the item price agreed to between the Buyer and the Seller, not including the shipping costs, any additional costs and applicable taxes.
- This fee is mandatory for every order made through Vinted and is added automatically at checkout.
- The Buyer Protection fee typically includes a percentage of the item's or bundle's price, as well as a fixed fee — usually 5% + $0.70.
- The calculation of this fee varies based on several factors, such as: item characteristics, order value, order type (a single item versus a bundle)
- These shipping costs are borne by the Buyer, and they are displayed when the Seller provides that option to Buyers.
- Taxes on Integrated shipping labels are paid by the Buyer, and for custom shipping, the applicable taxes are borne by the Seller.
