How the fee is built
For listings created or updated on or after January 6, 2025, the seller pays a flat 10% selling fee on the combined item price plus buyer-paid shipping; no separate payment-processing fee is charged to either side. The buyer pays a 3.6% Buyer Protection fee on the same base (item price + buyer-paid shipping), shown in the checkout total and not deducted from the seller. Legacy listings created before January 6, 2025 and never updated carry the old structure instead: no seller fee, but the buyer pays a 10% service fee and a payment-processing fee of $0.50 + 2.9% of the transaction price (item + shipping + service fee + sales tax). Payouts: ACH direct deposit is free (once per day; $2 for each failed request); Instant Pay costs a flat $3 per cash-out (once per day, up to $600/month). Rounding is not published.
